No Pill Can Stop Your Eyesight From Going Bad

I knew it from the first day that I heard it that a pill that is supposed to help you keep your good eyesight would not work. Why would it? I always think its funny when people think that a pill or a surgery will reverse the clock.
Now that does not mean that I do not think that people should eat healthy, take vitamins and make every attempt to stay healthy as they age, but to think that you can stop the ageing process is laughable. There are fruits and vegetables that help your eyesight stay healthy as well as many other things but they do not stop anything from happening. All they can do is help prevent things.
For example, carrots have long been believed to help keep your good eye-sight because of cartene. So doctors developed a pill that contained cartene in it. But researches have found out that the pill does not work.
A earlier study found that beta carotene, which is taken from certain vitamins and zinc could slow or prevent vision loss but this new study found that there are no benefit for these supplements.
So I suggest that you try to just eat healthy because that is what we know will do the best job to keep you as healthy as possible. Make sure to get exercise and enjoy life. No little pill is going to make you younger, so you might as well enjoy it while it lasts
